Langham Hotel, London

Langham Hotel was built by Edward VII King and officially
opened in 1865. It has welcomed many famous people such as the most humorist in
America - Mark Twain, Irish great poet - Oscar Wilde and Scotland writer - Sir
Arthur Conan Doyle. However, this is also the place is frequently visited by
the ghosts.
Hotel Burchianti,
Florence (Italy)
Burchianti Hotel is rumored as a place being full of ghosts, from
ghosts of the kids jumping into the hall and a woman sitting to knit to the
ghost of a maid going around to clean in the morning. Some guests staying
at Fresco, where Dictator Benito Mussolini once stayed, said that they felt
someone looking at him and felt a blast of cold blowing
into the face.
Hotel Russell, Sydney
(Australia)
The old motel for sailors is one of the first hotels built in
The Rocks area, Sydney. The soul of a sailor was
said to still stick in room number 8 at the
hotel. The housekeeping staffs also said that they heard footsteps on the floor
creaking at midnight but could not identify where the
sound came from. However, not only did the
horror stories not destroy the business of Russell, but it also helped
hotel attract many curious visitors.

Marilyn Monroe used to be a guest at this hotel, where the
first Academy Awards ceremony was held in 1929.
Guests and hotel staffs said that they had seen a yellow blond hair woman in
the mirror in the room that Monroe used to stay. Her ghost is rumored to appear
in the pool of the Tropicana nightclub in the hotel. Meanwhile, a number of people
recalled that they had met the ghost of Montgomery Clift actor playing trumpet
from room 928, where he died.
Hampshire hotel (UK)
The old inn built in 1795 is believed to be haunted by the
ghost of a dead female butler in room 22. It is said that her ghost often sat at the bedside or walked down the
hallway. It was one of three ghosts that are
said to still be around in the hotel.
Jekyll Island club
hotel, Georgia (USA)
The luxurious hotel in this Georgia was a part of
the exclusive members in the club of Georgia in late 1800, and used to be the
residence of some wealthy famous American people. The great financier JP Morgan, who was known to
smoke cigars which he likes at 5 am daily at the
hotel's outbuilding, is one of them. Recent visitors traveling to Jekyll Island
Club hotels said they had smelled the cigar at the same time each morning.
Railway magnate Samuel Spencer is also a member
of the club. Spencer died in 1906 but he is believed to have visited his
favorite room to drink coffee and read the morning newspaper.
