The World’s Most Exotic Islands (Part 1)

Many surprises were discovered on different islands in the world.
Artificial Islands Palm, Dubai
Palm Islands is a cluster of three largest artificial islands in the world at present. The three islands shape palm trees and gradually become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Dubai.
They have names: Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira, located on the coast of Dubai and extended nearly 520 kilometers to the city beach. It is considered as one of the most spectacular buildings which people have ever erected. Only two islands are Palm Jumeirah and Palm Jebel Ali that required approximately 100 million cubic meters of rock and sand. Palm Deira Island is also made up of close to 1 billion cubic meters of rock and sand, most of which were dredged from the seabed. All construction materials were transported from the UAE.
Moreover, on the three islands are 100 luxurious hotels, villas and more than 5,000 sumptuous apartments along the beach together with marina, water parks, restaurants, shopping centers, sport centers, health and spa services. The Palm is also recognized as the "8th Wonder of the World".
La Isla delas Munecas – Mexico
Those who has seen the movie Chucky - the doll ghost agrees that doll is creepier than its cute appearance, especially when they are hung on the tree, wrapped in spider webs with maggots and beetles crawling out of their eyes. All most of us think that these images just appear in films of the Hollywood, but when coming to La Isla de las Munecas, you will be completely overwhelmed by horror scenes of the island. While other islands have thousands of people living, this small island is home to hundreds of scary dolls with the single leg, arm and head were removed and soulless eyes.
And of course, behind the thing that they are hung on the island is the story of a person who looks after this island - Julian Santana Barrera. The story is that Barrera found a girl who drowned in mysterious circumstance, and he could not save her life. After that, Barrera saw a doll floating in the nearby canal and he said that the doll belonged to the victim. He picked it up and hung it on a tree as a way to show respect and pray for her soul. However, there are also those who question the existence of this girl. The report concluded that Barrera had imagined the story about a girl because of his loneliness. He seems to be haunted by the spirit of a girl so he collected the scary dolls and hung them around the island to please her.
Since then, the story of the ghost of the girl and the dolls have become the legend and people began to bring him many more dolls. Julian died in 2005 at the age of 86 and amassed a collection of thousands of scary dolls. And the island has gradually become one of the ideal locations for those who are adventurous.
